Münster Osnabrück International Airport is the airport assigned for games at Gelsenkirchen. It is a regional airport that also serves the cities of Münster and Osnabrück and the surrounding region. At about a 40-minute drive from Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf Airport (DUS, EDDL) is closer to the city than Münster Osnabrück International Airport.
