Thomaskirche, or St. Thomas Church, is a Romanesque and Gothic architectural masterpiece that dates back to the 13th century. Famous for Johann Sebastian Bach (who worked as a Kapellmeister) and Martin Luther (who introduced his religious reform while preaching at the church), the church is a must-visit for any visitor to Leipzig.
