Our team was tasked with designing and arranging a bespoke four-night stay for our client’s special birthday celebration. Our client requested for the party to be thrown in a grand country house with at least 10 bedrooms, a large hosting space and beautiful grounds. With only one month to finalise all the arrangements, our team set about curating the perfect birthday celebration.

Using our industry contacts, Abbey sourced the perfect venue for the celebrations: Kinross House, an impressive 17th-century stately home with 24 double bedrooms. It was the ideal location, set against a backdrop of formal gardens and sprawling woodlands overlooking magnificent Loch Leven. Abbey flew in to personally plan and oversee the trip, managing the whole event alongside the house staff.
With guests flying in from several different locations, our team coordinated all travel and ensured everyone arrived exactly to plan. We booked multiple commercial flights to Edinburgh for guests coming from Switzerland and France, followed by helicopters and chauffeur-driven Mercedes to transfer them to the party in style, and arranged two private jet charters to bring other guests from England directly to the grounds of the house
Our Solution
All parts of the trip were specially designed by our experts in The Travel Division. We delivered hampers to every guest containing their favourite snacks, bespoke-fitted kilts and custom crocs. We also designed an itinerary and left a copy with each hamper, outlining carefully curated activities for the trip such as a highland games day on the front lawn, a murder mystery dinner and gin tastings.
Every element of the celebrations was taken care of for the client, allowing them to sit back and enjoy the trip. The birthday party was a huge success, featuring bespoke menus, specially-designed decorations and a custom cake topped with a figurine of the client.
